Verdict
The Bali 4.1 is a space-first cruising catamaran with unusually open living areas, good charter-friendly accommodation, and easy coastal cruising manners. It gives up some windward performance and a more traditional secure-cockpit feel, but remains a strong family and charter choice.

The Bali 4.1 follows Bali’s signature approach: maximize usable space and direct access between the saloon, aft cockpit, and forward lounging area. On a 41-foot platform, that makes it feel larger than its length suggests, and the 2018 layout is especially well suited to charter use or family cruising. The trade-off is a more unconventional deck plan than classic cruising cats, with less separation between living zones and sailing work areas.
On the water, the Bali 4.1 is generally described as easy to handle and maneuverable, helped by twin inboard diesels and a shallow draft of about 1.12 m. It is a comfortable cruising cat rather than a fast passage-maker, so buyers should expect competent coastal performance but only average upwind ability compared with more performance-focused multihulls.
Comfort and livability are the main strengths. The 4-cabin, 4-head configuration is practical for guests, and the open layout improves ventilation, visibility, and day-to-day convenience at anchor.
