About this boat
A comfortable clipper with good sailing characteristics. The ship has a beautiful ship-like appearance, combined with all the conveniences of today.
Sailing
A wide clipper with a handy rig. In addition to a lot of space, the width also ensures good stability. So you don't have to be afraid of seasickness. A number of adjustments (such as extra winches, for example) make it possible to sail the ship well even with a relatively small crew. For the sporty sailors, however, there is still plenty to do and we are also happy to bring out our extra additional sailing.
Below deck
At the front of the ship is a cozy spacious saloon with plenty of seating space.
Adjacent to the salon is a spacious, well-equipped open kitchen. The kitchen includes a dishwasher and a 6-burner gas stove with large electric oven
The vessel has twenty sleeping places divided over seven cabins. All beds are fully made including duvets. There are three 4-person cabins and 3 2-person cabins. All cabins have central heating and running water and a sink.
The vessel has one spacious bathroom with shower, sink and toilet, one bathroom with shower and sink and one separate toilet room.
Destination Wadden Sea
The peace and space of the Wadden are unique! An astonishing natural beauty, which is on the UNESCO World Heritage List for a reason. Dunes, salt marshes, mudflats, beach and water. And of course the beautiful Wadden Islands themselves. The Waddensea has a lot to offer!
The Wad is a very dynamic area
The Wad is ruled by ebb and flow. One moment miles of expansive tidal flats are dry, the next everything is under water again. Strong currents are created by ebb and flow. These currents ensure that the tidal flats do not remain the same every day. With the tide, water from the North Sea is pushed through the tidal inlets between the islands. The tidal flats are filled with water through channels and arbors and the tidal flats are inundated. At low tide, the water flows from the tidal flats through the gullies and channels back to the North Sea. The flowing water takes sand and slip with it. Sand particles settle when the water is moving, the slip particles only settle when the water is standing still. This is how the mud flats are formed. The mud flats consist of sand or silt. The mud flats are teeming with life. crabs, shrimp, worms and buried shellfish. Every year millions of migratory birds forage for food on the dried-up tidal flats.
