The Zadar archipelago with as many islands as the days of the year, numerous straits, channels and hidden coves with safe anchorage in 8 marinas is a real paradise for boaters. Discover the magic of small fishing villages, meet Mediterranean as it once was. Closest islands are just few miles from city, and with our boats you can reach them in 5 minutes. Please note:
- Bareboat charter requires valid license and security deposit in the harbor
- Skipper service is paid extra 100 EUR/day in the harbor
- Fuel is not included in the boat rental price It is very thankless job to suggest you any of Zadar islands or places to see, because everyone is different, everyone is special on its own way. Only thing we can advice to you is to visit it (if it is possible) in your own privacy with your own boat. Experience will be completely different, better, and believe me, you will experience real Dalmatia. I have selected my favorite places and islands for you: Ugljan island -Ugljan is closest island to Zadar, and you can’t miss it from city. In the island of Ugljan there are many fishermen and tourist villages (almost captured in time). mainly placed in the North east side of the island in natural coves; and the most famous are: Ugljan, Lukoran, Sutomiscica, Poljana, Preko, Kali and Kukljica. Kali – Kali is a village of famous fishermen of Adriatic’s that are also proven as seamen in the seas of the world. Its uniqueness is in two ports full of fishermen boats and fishermen repairing their nets. The ancient nucleus of the village with narrow streets and stone houses in Dalmatian stile is placed in the hill from which you can have the beautiful view to the surroundings, and everything is dominated by tower bell of the baroque church of the St Lawrence, patron of Kali. Dugi otok (Long island) – Named for its characteristic shape, Dugi Otok is 45 kilometers long and just 5 kilometers wide. An island of hidden coves, sheer cliffs, ancient ruins, and gorgeous white pebble beaches, it’s the perfect destination for travelers seeking unforgettable scenery and historical sites without the crowds. Telascica nature park – Located on the southeastern part of the island, Telascica Nature Park covers some 70 square kilometers of sparkling blue water, small islands, and picturesque, hidden coves. The Telašćica bay is one of the safest, the most beautiful and largest natural ports in the Adriatic. There are 6 islets and cliffs inside the bay, and 25 small coves on the 69 km indented coastline. It is an attractive anchorage for many boaters. The cliffs of the island Dugi otok or locally called “Stene” rising up to 200 m over the sea, and vertically falling down 90 m into the sea Sakarun Beach – One of the most beautiful beach in the World is located at northwest coast of the Island. Near the beach are the places Veli Rat, Veruni, Soline and Božava. The beach gained its reputation with the whiteness of the sand and clean sea, surrounded by pine trees that provide a welcome shade in the summer. It is about 800 meters long and at some 250 meters from the shore it is 3.5 meters deep, which means that the bathing area is extremely large and shallow and suitable even for young children. On the beach are two catering facilities that offer refreshment from the summer heat and light snacks National park Kornati – The Kornati National Park is often mentioned as “nautical paradise” in tourist publications. And really, in “slalom” sailing through the 89 unforgettable islands, islets and reefs in the Kornati National Park, you will test all of your nautical skills, particularly if the weather puts in some effort. National park Kornati is not all in Zadar archipelago, and you will need more than 40 minutes from [**#**], or Sukošan, and even more from Zadar, but it is definitely something worth seeing.
