Sessa Marine is an Italian boat builder founded in 1958 and active in the marine industry from 1968. The company is based in Italy and builds motorboats and yachts, including the Key Largo series and larger cruiser models.
Sessa was founded in 1958 by engineer Camillo Braga, initially working in phenolic powders and polyester resins before entering boating in 1968 with its first Genoa Boat Show participation. In the 1970s, the company began producing small boats at Sessa Aurunca and expanded its facilities through Cinisello Balsamo and Arcore. In 1973, it became the first Italian company to install Piaggio jet units for small inboard jet boats. The business later moved production to northern Italy and formed Sessa Marine Spa in 1992 after merging with Fyberstamp.
Sessa builds a range of fiberglass pleasure boats that spans open sportsboats, cabin cruisers, and larger yachts. Its better-known lines include the Key Largo family of dayboats and the C series of cruisers and yachts, with models such as the Key Largo 22, Key Largo 27, C35, C68, and F68 Gullwing appearing in its recent catalogues. The brand is associated with Italian styling, practical deck layouts, and a progression from smaller runabouts to larger family and cruising boats.
