We specialize in trolling for big game species have been operating out of Ponta Delgada, on the island of São Miguel that is a part of the Azores archipelago, since 1998. This Big Game Fishing trip includes fishing for Tunas (Bluefin, Bigeye, Yellowfin, and Albacore), Marlins (Blue, White), Spearfish, Swordfish, and Sharks (Mako, Blue, and Hammerhead). It all depends on what you want to target. Tuna season is usually from mid-April to the end of June but the last few years were great for Tuna fishing throughout the year. Marlin season is from August to early October, while Sharks are more commonly caught during summer months. Your experienced crew is made up of an expert captain and two deck mates, one of whom is a marine biologist. The whole crew has extensive experience of fishing the local waters, having lived and fished in the Azores all their lives.
