About this boat
This catamaran brand has become one of the most successful models in the Cruising Catamaran market.
She has a high bridgedeck to minimise slamming. A solid deck gives the boat rigidity and the hulls have been sculpted to slip through the water efficiently for a cruising catamaran. All of the bulkheads are laminated to the hull. Construction of the core of the boat is with Divinycell Foam (closed cell foam). You would normally expect flybridges on larger yachts, but that has never stopped Bali from going down this design route. The flybridge opens up the space on the main deck with that famous tilting door, and the forward Oceans Evasionins have been arranged athwartships using the space in the nacelle like a Privilege. The forward Oceans Evasionins are fitted with an additional folding bunk. This is a 40 foot boat, but it feels like a 45 footer through clever design. For this boat length the living space is impressive. The integral deck opens right up: the whole area is connected from the aft platform with its bench seat to the galley and nav station. Up front is the forward cockpit with a lounge and sunbathing area and up top is the flybridge with the helm and an additional lounging area. The tilting door system converts the connected open space to a fully protected area in a few seconds if the weather turns nasty, and sliding side windows and a tilting front window help make the Catspace light and airy. Much of the talk around a Bali involves the fridge and the Catspace is no exception with a a 265-liter (9.36 cu ft) American style fridge/
freezer, plus a forward-facing chart table and navigation station.
