Rodman is a Spanish boat and shipbuilder founded in 1974 by Manuel Rodriguez in Vigo, Spain. The company builds leisure motorboats as well as commercial vessels, including patrol boats, workboats, and passenger craft. It now operates as the Rodman Group with shipbuilding activity in Spain and Portugal.

Rodman began in 1974 as Rodman Naval Construction and Industrial, named from the founder’s surname and first name. The business started with fishing boats in Vigo and later expanded into sportsboats and other motor craft. Over time it grew into a group with multiple shipyards, including Rodman Polyships in Moaña, Metalships & Docks in Vigo, Rodman Lusitania in Valença do Minho, and Neuvisa in Moaña. The company says it has delivered more than 15,000 boats and is the oldest company in its sector in Spain.

Rodman’s leisure range includes motor yachts and fishing or cruising boats, while its professional output covers fast patrol boats, workboats, passenger vessels, and catamarans. The brand is known for rugged hulls and offshore-focused design, reflecting its roots in commercial shipbuilding and its Atlantic operating environment.
