Quicksilver

Quicksilver is a recreational boat brand within the Brunswick group, focused on boats for leisure and fishing. The brand was launched in Europe in the early 1990s and has been associated with inflatable, aluminum and fiberglass boats.

Quicksilver began in Europe as a Mercury Marine brand selling parts and accessories, then shifted toward boatbuilding around 1991. Brunswick’s EMEA history shows the launch of Quicksilver Inflatables in 1991, followed by Quicksilver Fiberglass and aluminum boats in 1993. Later developments included the Arvor and Armor ranges in 1999 and a new brand identity in 2022. Production has been handled in Brunswick facilities, with some European models built under license in Poland.

The brand’s range has covered inflatable boats, aluminum boats, fiberglass cruisers and fishing models. Quicksilver has also used grouped trim concepts such as Smart Edition to simplify equipment choices, and its newer lineup includes Activ and Captur ranges for leisure and fishing. Current market coverage is broad, from compact open boats to larger cruisers, with model names such as Activ 555 Open, Activ 605 Open and Activ 675 Open showing the brand’s focus on family day-boating. The design approach emphasizes practical layouts, easy ownership and value-oriented specifications.
