Pershing

Pershing is an Italian yacht builder founded in 1981 by Tilli Antonelli, Fausto Filippetti, and Giuliano Onori under the name Cantiere Navale dell’Adriatico. The brand emerged in 1985 with the Pershing 45, a performance motor yacht that established its fast, sporty style. Pershing is now part of the Ferretti Group and builds luxury performance yachts in Italy.

Pershing began in Mondolfo, Italy, when Antonelli, Filippetti, and Onori founded Cantiere Navale dell’Adriatico in 1981. The yard initially focused on wooden boats and repair work before moving into motor yacht production. In 1985, the first Pershing model, the Pershing 45, launched in collaboration with designer Fulvio De Simoni, and the Pershing name became the brand identity. Ferretti Group acquired Pershing in 1998, giving it wider international reach.

Pershing builds high-performance open and sport yachts known for combining speed, aggressive styling, and luxury accommodation. The brand’s early reputation was built on the Pershing 45, while later models such as the Pershing 70, Pershing 115, and Pershing 140 pushed into larger size classes and higher performance. Its larger yachts have included advanced propulsion and construction choices, including gas turbine power on some models and an all-aluminium flagship in the Pershing 140. The line is positioned toward buyers who want fast cruising yachts with premium interiors.
