Meridian was a U.S. yacht builder in the Brunswick Boat Group, known for sedan, flybridge, and pilothouse motor yachts. The brand was based in Arlington, Washington, and later became part of the Sea Ray group within Brunswick. Meridian produced fiberglass cruising yachts aimed at livability and maneuverability.
Meridian Yachts began in the early 2000s as a Brunswick brand and built its boats in Arlington, Washington, about 45 miles north of Seattle. The company operated as part of Brunswick’s boat-building portfolio and later moved under the Sea Ray group. In 2008 Brunswick announced the shutdown of Meridian’s Arlington boat-building operation, and the brand’s production ended after that period. Meridian was positioned as a bridge-boat and motor-yacht line rather than a high-volume runabout builder.
Meridian’s range focused on fiberglass sedan motor yachts, flybridge boats, and pilothouse models. Reported model names include the 341 Sedan, 381 Sedan Bridge, 391 Sedan, 411 Sedan, 441 Sedan, 459 Motoryacht, and 490 Pilothouse. The boats were typically aimed at cruising buyers who wanted large interiors, wide beams, and comfortable overnight accommodations. Meridian’s reputation centered on practical layout, easy handling, and value in the mid-size yacht segment.
