Expert reviews of Marinello boats
Marinello is an Italian boat builder based in Patti, in the province of Messina, Sicily. The shipyard was founded in 1973 by Cavaliere Gaetano Stroscio and builds fiberglass motorboats for leisure use.
History and shipyard
Cantiere Marinello began production in 1973 with four fiberglass boat models, described as lancette and gozzi. The company presented seven models at the Genoa International Boat Show in 1977 and has remained active in major boating events since then. Management passed to Gaetano Stroscio’s sons, Tindaro and Filippo, in 1996, with support from family members and specialized technical staff. The shipyard is based in Patti and operates from a facility of more than 6,000 square meters overlooking the Gulf of Patti in Sicily.
Model range and use
Marinello’s current range is centered on outboard-powered open boats, cabin cruisers, and similar small leisure craft. Public listings and distributor descriptions place the range in roughly the 4.7-meter to over 7.5-meter segment, with models such as Eden 22, Eden 18, Fisherman 16, and other open or cabin variants. The brand is also associated with handcrafted production, internal quality control, and CE or RINA compliance in some distributor material. Its boats are aimed at day cruising, family use, and fishing-oriented boating.
