★ 4.2FreddyThe 2012 Lazzara LSX 92 is a fast, stylish 92-foot motor yacht with strong IPS-driven performance and a practical 4-cabin layout for up to 8 guests. Its main trade-offs are age, mixed reported speed figures, and value that depends heavily on condition and refit history.Read review →
★ 4.2AlgorythmA well-executed express-style motor yacht with strong speed, good maneuverability and a practical 4-cabin layout for 8 guests. It is best suited to buyers who value performance and open-plan luxury over the latest-generation design or maximum volume.Read review →Lazzara is an American yacht builder founded by brothers Brad and Dick Lazzara in 1990, with roots in the earlier boatbuilding work of their father, Vince Lazzara. The company began in Tampa, Florida, and has built luxury motor yachts and flybridge yachts. Its better-known models include the Lazzara 76 and the 80 Skylounge.
History and shipyard
Lazzara Yachts emerged from a family boatbuilding tradition that included Columbia Yachts and Gulfstar Yachts, both associated with Vince Lazzara. Brad and Dick Lazzara formed Lazzara Yacht Corporation in 1990, and the first Lazzara yacht, the 76, entered the market in the early 1990s. Sources place the company’s start in Tampa and east Tampa Bay, where the family’s later yacht operations were based. The brand later changed hands and continued under newer ownership structures.
Models and design
Lazzara is associated with custom and semi-custom luxury motor yachts, especially flybridge and enclosed-flybridge designs. The company became known for the 80 Skylounge, described as an early enclosed-flybridge model, and later produced larger yachts such as the Lazzara 84 Flybridge and Lazzara LSX 92. The range has focused on owner-driven layouts, contemporary styling, and performance-oriented cruising yachts rather than sailboats. Production history also includes periods of pause and later revival under new ownership.
