Falcon Yachts is an Italian boat builder based in Viareggio, with roots in the Cielo Terra Mare company founded in Milan in 1968 and the Falcon shipyard established in 1988. It is known for building luxury motor yachts under the Cantieri Navali Falcon name. The brand’s model range has included yachts from 86 feet to 121 feet.
History and shipyard
Falcon’s history begins with Cielo Terra Mare CTM Sas, a luxury brokerage business founded in Milan in 1968 by Edoardo Spreafico. In 1988, the company established Cantieri Navali Falcon in Viareggio, creating a dedicated yacht-building operation. A second shipyard opened in Viareggio in 1992 as demand grew. The builder later produced yachts in fiberglass and worked from two construction sites in Italy. Production under the Falcon brand is now reported as stopped.
Model range and design
Falcon built motor yachts in the 15 to 30 meter class, with later model ranges cited from 86 feet to 121 feet. The yard’s yachts are described as combining quality engineering with distinctive design, including classic, clean lines and refined interiors. Sources on the brand mention iconic models such as the Falcon 86 and Falcon 100. Falcon’s reputation is tied to high-quality construction and a strong Italian styling identity in the luxury yacht market.
