★ 4.1NataliA well-regarded late-2000s flybridge yacht with strong speed, generous accommodation and a practical 4-cabin layout. Its main trade-offs are high operating costs, older-era efficiency and the usual complexity of a large twin-engined planing yacht.Read review →Dominator is a yacht builder founded in 1999 and producing boats from its manufacturing base in Fano, on Italy’s Adriatic coast. The company’s headquarters are reported in Austria, and its yachts are built in Italy as custom motor yachts and superyachts. Its first launch was the Dominator 65 in 2001.
Dominator was founded in 1999 and began production in March 2000. Its first yacht, the Dominator 65, launched in 2001, and the yard moved into a permanent production headquarters in Fano in 2003. The brand was created by Giandato Sigismondi, with early support from former Formula One driver Peter Zuber. Over time, Dominator expanded its production capacity and added larger facilities as its range moved into bigger yachts.
Dominator builds custom motor yachts and superyachts, with reported lengths ranging roughly from 19 to 40 metres. The brand entered the superyacht segment in 2008 with a 29-metre model and reached its largest launch in 2010 with a 40-metre yacht. Known model names include the Dominator 65, 620, 640, 780, and larger 29-metre and 40-metre projects. The yard is also associated with Italian design and bespoke interior and layout work.
