CNB is a French yacht builder founded in Bordeaux in 1987 as Construction Navale Bordeaux. The brand builds luxury sailing yachts and, in some sources, motor yachts, with a long focus on semi-custom blue-water yachts. CNB was part of Groupe Beneteau before being acquired by Solaris Yachts in 2021, with integration completed in 2022.

CNB began on the banks of the Garonne River in Bordeaux, France, where it was founded by Dieter Gust and Olivier Lafourcade. The shipyard operated under Groupe Beneteau for many years and later became part of Solaris Yachts after the 2021 sale. CNB’s original Bordeaux site was associated with Construction Navale Bordeaux, and production of some later CNB yachts moved to Italy after the ownership change. The builder’s official history presents CNB as a company created by sailors for sailors, with a focus on blue-water cruising yachts.

CNB is best known for large sailing yachts in aluminium and high-tech composite construction. Sources describe its range as semi-custom and oriented toward long-distance cruising, with models including the Bordeaux 60 and the CNB 62, 66, 76, and 78. Yacht listings and builder information also show that CNB has produced yachts across a broad size range, from about 18 to 29 meters in current production references, with earlier references extending higher.
