About this boat

Embark on board an authentic Breton tuna dundee.

Sailing on this traditional sailboat is much more than just a sea outing: it's sharing the history of a true working boat, rediscovering the gestures of the old sailors, and discovering Brittany from the most beautiful perspective.

Built in 1948 in the famous shipyards Le Hir & Péron in Camaret-sur-Mer, this tuna dundee was designed for albacore fishing in the Atlantic. Renowned for its seafaring qualities and speed, it quickly became one of the best tuna boats in its home port. After several decades of fishing navigation, it underwent a complete restoration that now allows it to return to the sea while respecting its history.

On board, everyone is invited to experience navigation from the inside. If you wish, you can participate in maneuvers, hoist the sails, steer the helm, or simply enjoy the spectacle offered by the 370 m² of sail when the wind carries the ship. The crew passionately shares traditional navigation techniques, maritime history, and anecdotes that make the life of this extraordinary boat.

Cruises allow you to discover the most beautiful landscapes of Brittany: the Bréhat archipelago, the Seven Islands, the Pink Granite Coast, the cliffs of Plouha, Trégor, the Hébihens, Cape Fréhel, and many anchorages accessible only by sea.

The boat accommodates up to 38 people for day navigation and 18 people during overnight cruises. Its spacious deck, large warm wooden square with varnished woodwork, and comfortable berths offer ideal conditions for sharing a moment with family, friends, or colleagues.

Comfort has been designed for true stays at sea: heating, hot water, showers, Bultex mattresses, electrical and USB sockets, fully equipped professional kitchen, spacious dining area, and many modern amenities discreetly integrated to preserve the charm of the ship.

Safety meets the highest standards thanks to navigation equipment and a professional, experienced crew.

Over the years, this sailboat has also been involved in several remarkable maritime adventures, including a crossing of the South and North Atlantic, the transport of a monumental statue between the British Cornwall and Brittany, once again illustrating its robustness and exceptional character.

Embarking on board means choosing an authentic, participative, and friendly experience, timeless, away from noise, off the beaten path.
