About this boat
Built in 1928 and a former seagoing vessel with a lot of comfort and rich history. The ship took part in the invasion of Normandy, among other things. Sailing with the Storebaelt means tackling. Hoisting and operating the 420 m2 tarpaulin requires many hands. So you can actively participate in sailing. If you prefer to take it easy, no problem, in every group there are generally enough people who enthusiastically help.
On deck
Has plenty of deck space and seating. you always have a wide view from the seating area on the camping deck, there are picnic tables on the middle deck. From the deck you enter the bar or the ground floor lounge. A wide seagoing vessel. In addition to a lot of space, the width also ensures good stability. So you don't have to be afraid of seasickness.
Interior
At the back of the ship is the saloon with a cozy round seat. A large painting has been applied to the rear wall. The saloon is adjacent to the well-equipped open galley. On deck is the bar where you imagine yourself in the old wheelhouse. You can enjoy a drink here, but also experience the sailing inside out of the wind.
Cabins
The cabins are located below the deck. All cabins have central heating and running water. The beds are covered with a sheet and a pillowcase. So you have to bring your own sleeping bag. You can also rent a duvet for € 10. (You must indicate this in advance.) In total, the ship has 13 cabins. Six 2-person cabins, three 4-person cabins and four 3-person cabins. The 3-person cabins are equipped with one double bed and one single bed. In total there are 32 beds with 36 sleeping places.
Sanitary
The sanitary facilities are also located below the deck. Has 4 showers and 3 toilets.
