Captain George Santorini Yachting ~ Here is why it stands out: Authentic Experience:
Unlike the modern, mass-market catamarans, Captain George operates the S/Y Eleftheria, a traditional 55-foot wooden Greek sailboat (Kaiki) built in 1971. This offers a vintage, "movie set" atmosphere that many travelers find magical.
Highly Rated
Captain: Captain George himself is frequently described as "informative," "funny," and "smart," with over 35 years of experience.
He is known for sharing deep knowledge of the island's history, culture, and sailing, often making guests feel like they are sailing with a friend rather than a crew.
Avoids Crowds:
Because he operates a smaller, traditional boat, he often avoids the heavy traffic of larger cruise ships, timing stops at the volcano and hot springs o ensure a more private experience. Excellent Food & Service:
Reviews consistently highlight the delicious, freshly prepared Greek meals (often grilled on board), generous portions, and attentive service from the crew.
Strong Track Record:
The company has nearly 200 reviews on with a rating of 4.8/5, with many guests returning year after year or recommending it as the "highlight of their trip."
If you are looking for a traditional, intimate, and highly personalized sailing experience rather than a large party boat,
this is widely considered one of the best options in Santorini. 1)Three Hours sunset cruise! Private and semi-private

We then sail to the Venetian lighthouse at the entrance of the Caldera and watch the sun set on the horizon with a drink and appropriate music There’s nothing like the Santorini Sunset! Departures - 10.30 - 12.00 or 15.30 We depart from the port of Vlychada and make our way to the Red Beach which is the known to be the best place for swim on the entire island, due to the crystal clear waters and the amazing scenery.--
A snack a few more drinks and of to the White Beach for a close pass at the white porcelain cliffs and the colorful surroundings, reminiscent of the volcanic explosion in 1650 BC
Afterwards a sail to the center of the Caldera, the Volcano and the Hot Springs where we will be able to enjoy the therapeutic effects of a natural sulfur mud bath in the warm waters which are around 35°C and have a vitalizing effect for the body and skin !
After all that swimming we light up the BBQ and enjoy a meal on the boat while cruising in Santorini's Caldera and looking up at the towns of Oia, Fira and Imerovigli.
