About this boat

Accessible to Public Parking and departing from Pleasant Bay, a fully customized boating adventure could include any of the following: #Pleasant Bay: Pleasant Bay is the largest contiguous bay along the Cape Cod National Seashore. It is located along the towns of Orleans, Chatham, Harwich, and a small part of Brewster. #Cape Cod National Seashore: "A man may stand there and put all America behind him." Henry David Thoreau The great Outer Beach described by Thoreau in the 1800s is protected within the national seashore. Forty miles of pristine sandy beach, marshes, ponds, and uplands support diverse species. Lighthouses, cultural landscapes, and wild cranberry bogs offer a glimpse of Cape Cod's past and continuing ways of life. This is also a fishing ground for stripers and blues. There is also an option to visit the beach. #Chatham Fish Pier: Opened in 1946, the Chatham Fish Pier has been a staple of the town for decades with its remarkable views of the Atlantic. One of the biggest draws to visiting the fish pier in Chatham is that it’s a great place to see seals! As boats pull into the pier after a long day of fishing, the seals know that it is time to eat. Waiting patiently, the seals swim near the fishing boats or the pier hoping for scraps off the deck from the day’s catch. #Chatham Lighthouse: The Chatham Lighthouse is featured in the film The Finest Hours depicting the US Coast Guard's rescue of the SS Pendleton in 1952 off the coast of Chatham. All four of the Coast Guard crew received the Coast Guard's Gold Lifesaving Medal. Today, the former keeper's house is an active U.S. Coast Guard station, and on-duty personnel living quarters. Search and Rescue, maritime law enforcement, and Homeland Security missions are carried out here. Flotilla 11-01 of the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary operates from this station. This Beacon marks the treacherous SE corner of the Cape. #Monomoy National Wildlife Refuge: Sand stretches for eight miles off the elbow of Cape Cod, forming the barrier islands of Minimoy, North Monomoy, and South Monomoy, along with numerous islets and shoals. The Refuge consists of varied habitats of oceans, salt and freshwater marshes, dunes, and freshwater ponds. This is also our primary fishing grounds for striper and blues (may also run into a great white shark or two)!!! There is also an option to visit the beach. #Nantucket Excursion: There is an option to extend or customize the trip to head offshore to Nantucket, where one can search for different species of fish, or visit beautiful Nantucket Harbor and it's Historical Downtown.
