Description of the tour:
It includes a complete tour of Favignana and Levanzo, circumnavigating the islet of Formica within the largest marine protected area in Europe.
Programme of the day:
Meeting point 9:15/9:30 at the slipway of the dock of Viale Regina Elena adjacent to the Port Authority, where the guests will be registered and the briefing for the day will take place.
We will meet at the starts towards the islet of Formica, a former tuna factory, where one of the three palaces commissioned by the Florio Dynasty is located, if the weather conditions allow it we will give the opportunity to admire one of the most suggestive wrecks of the Egadi islands, the motor vessel ELPIS sunk in 1978. We continue towards Favignana, in Cala Rossa, the jewel in the crown of the island, where the first stop will take place for a magnificent and unforgettable swim in the crystalline waters. Continuing the circumnavigation of the island, given the limited number of guests, the captain will give the possibility to choose the stops where to swim (Bue Marino, Previto islet, Cala Rotonda, Baia Santa Margherita), all fantastic places to stop.
At around 13:00 the circumnavigation of the island is completed, the captain will give the possibility to choose between taking a refreshment break on the mainland of the island of Favignana or continuing by moving the refreshment break to the island of Levanzo (duration approximately 1 hour).
Sailing in the direction of Levanzo, we head towards the Faraglioni and then head towards Cala Tramontana, always giving the possibility to choose when and where to stop for a swim.
With the bow directed towards Capo Grosso, the northernmost tip of the Egadi archipelago, we continue towards Cala Calcara and then reach Cala Minnula and Cala Fredda, completing the circumnavigation near the port of Levanzo of the Island.
