About this boat

A Champion's Pedigree
Long before she began welcoming guests along the French coast, Marionette VI made sailing history. Designed by Ron Holland — the naval architect behind some of the era's most formidable racing yachts — she was built for one purpose: to win.
And win she did. In 1977, racing for Chris Dunning as part of the British team, Marionette VI helped claim the Admiral's Cup, sailing's unofficial world championship of offshore racing, against a record international fleet of 19 nations. It remains one of the most storied editions of the event.
She later passed into Dutch hands and raced on under the name Formidable, before eventually returning to the Mediterranean — where today, fully restored, she carries guests along the same coastline instead of racing crews across the Solent.
Step aboard, and you're not just boarding a sailboat. You're sailing a piece of Admiral's Cup history.
