About this boat
Welcome aboard! WHERE WE SAIL: Imagine a place where the land ends and the magic begins: BAJA CALIFORNIA in Mexico is a long peninsula south of California that separates the Pacific Ocean from the Gulf of California. The arid desert meets azure, crystal-clear water—a sight that touches the soul. The ultimate sailing highlight is observing SEALS, DOLPHINES, and WHALES: close encounters with majestic gray or humpback whales in the warm lagoons—an emotional experience of nature that will transport you away from everyday life. ESCELLENT FOOD food under sail, fine wines, Caribbean cocktails, an excellent ambiance and observing nature both above and below water are part of Sabine and Carlos' world of enjoyment, which they like to share. THE BOAT is a 15-meter catamaran. It is very well equipped with kayaks, stand-up paddleboards (SUPs), snorkeling gear, a soda maker, a watermaker, solar panels, a steamer, certified scuba tanks, a 30 hp motorboat, air conditioning, a generator, and internet access via onboard Wi-Fi. WE SAIL, snorkel, scuba dive …and take our motorboat out on lagoons and rivers. The crew consists of the co-skipper and the skipper. Both gave up their lucrative careers to live and love the beautiful things on the water. Karl Heinz (Carlos), a trained aircraft technician, has lived on the world's oceans for over 30 years and has sailed well over 250,000 miles on catamarans. Sabine was (is) a self-employed tax consultant and auditor with a passion for design and energy work. Together, they make a sensitive and competent team.
