About this boat
The 2023 Dragonfly 25 is a masterpiece of multihull engineering, combining exotic speed with practical trailerability for the modern sailor. Built by Quorning Boats in Denmark, this lightweight trimaran weighs only 1,050 kg (dry), enabling acceleration and stability that outperforms monohulls of the same size. Its foldable amas reduce the beam from 5.80m to just 2.30m, making it easy to tow with a midsize SUV or light pickup.
Dragonfly DF 25 Touring 2023. Hull no 95. Mylor Yacht Harbour UK VAT-paid Fast and fun (and remarkably dry) day sailer / weekender, that is also capable of much longer trips. There is room for friends and family, but it is also very easy to rig and sail single-handed, with a self-tacking jib and furling gennaker. The boat is in superb condition. It is kept ashore for 6 months every year, when the sails are professionally checked and laundered, the engine is serviced, the hulls are waxed and polished, and the halyards and folding lines are checked and shortened. The current waiting list for a new one is stretching into 2028, so this is a great opportunity to buy one that really does look like new, at a good discount to the new price, available today, and without having to pay approx £7000 extra for packing, launching and delivery charges from Denmark. In moderate-to-strong winds, the Dragonfly 25 comfortably sails over 15 knots, with top speeds exceeding 20 knots in favorable conditions. The boat features a rotating alloy mast and self-tacking jib for effortless single-handing, perfect for both touring and racing sailors. With a minimum draft of 0.35m (centerboard up), it accesses shallow anchorages and hidden coasts unreachable by other vessels.
Accommodation for 4 Guests
Despite its compact 25ft length, the Dragonfly 25 offers two cabins and sleeping arrangements for up to four adults. The main salon includes two long settee berths, while the forward V-berth provides additional comfort, ideal for couples or small families.
