About this boat
Immersive cruise in the Marquesas Islands
Aboard a Pogo 12.50
Polynesian authenticity in its purest form.
In the heart of the Marquesas Islands, far from conventional lagoons, lies a raw, vertical, and deeply inhabited Polynesia.
This cruise is not an itinerary.
It is an encounter.
Aboard Fast Guy, a sleek, self-sufficient sailboat, we sail from island to island in a small group, prioritizing intimacy, quality exchanges, and a minimal footprint.
The islands on the itinerary:
NUKU HIVA
A majestic and wild island.
Spectacular cliffs, deep bays, and secret valleys.
- Visit archaeological sites and ancestral marae
- Meet local artisans and sculptors
- Immerse yourself in a culture where stone and wood tell the story of the ancestors
UA POU
The famous basalt spires of Ua Pou dominate the ocean.
A spectacular, deeply authentic island.
- Stopovers in unspoiled villages
- Special exchanges with the inhabitants
- Opportunity to create your own tiki alongside a Marquesan artisan
HIVA OA
A land of inspiration and art.
In Atuona:
- Visit the museum dedicated to Jacques Brel
- Discover the space dedicated to Paul Gauguin
- Contemplation at the Calvary cemetery facing the ocean
Hiva Oa is an island of soul and memory, where the energy of the elements dialogues with artistic creation.
FATU HIVA
The southernmost and wildest of the Marquesas Islands.
Virgin Bay is one of the most spectacular anchorages in the Pacific: rocky peaks, striking verticality, absolute silence.
Discover the villages of Omoa and Hanavave.
Traditional tapa and tiki making.
Hikes through lush valleys and isolated waterfalls.
Fatu Hiva represents the very essence of the Marquesas: untouched, intense, deeply human.
In short,
A rare experience,
Confidential anchorages,
Authentic cultural immersion,
Sincere human encounters,
A memorable, profound, transformative journey.
The Marquesas Islands are not to be visited,
they are to be experienced.
This cruise is designed for a discerning, cultured clientele in search of meaning—travelers who want to experience a powerful, exclusive, and resolutely authentic Polynesia.
- Adventurous and elegant sailing
- Secluded anchorages
- Real cultural immersion
- Sincere human encounters
