About this boat

The wonderful experience at this cabin is elevated by a cruise around Rabbit Lake! This pontoon rental is only available to the short term renters of the Northwood Escape on Rabbit Lake. IMPORTANT NOTE FOR ALL MINNESOTA RENTERS: - Minnesota Statute 86B.306 requires ANY operator of ANY age (18+) of ANY rental watercraft have a valid Watercraft Operator's Permit. Sec. 86B.306 MN Statutes - How do I get a Minnesota Watercraft Operators Permit? - Option 1: 180 day temporary permit - Option 2: Permanent / Lifetime Minnesota permit - https://boattests101.com/united-states/minnesota - Please note that these legislative changes are confusing: a very similar boating law passed at the same time which requires a watercraft operator's permit based on age, phase-in time until 2028, to ensure every boater born after July 1, 1987 to operate their own / private watercraft. This is NOT the rental law and while similar, does not apply to rental watercraft. - All operators of rented watercraft must have a valid Watercraft Operator Permit, regardless of age. With over 1,000-acres of lake to experience, there are many hours of cruising time to enjoy. Swimming is encouraged with a ladder attached to the rear of the boat for re-entry. Rabbit Lake is separated by a road bridge. The Bimini top will not fit under the bridge. As you enter this section, begin lowering the Bimini to safely access the eastern portion of the lake. Take caution of the buoys positioned throughout the lake. Shallow water is prevalent and can impact the boat, damaging the motor or boat. A depth finder is affixed to the captains chair and can assist in notifying shallow water conditions. Please, read the MN Boaters Safety guide. The rental property is equipped with life jackets of many sizes, please heed the requirements for boaters under 12. Floatation devices for enjoyment in the water are also available with the rental. Take advantage of your time at the water front by trolling the waters with your friends and family!
