THE BOAT AND ITS EQUIPMENT:

The KOALA 50 is the series boat created by the legendary CS&RB Busnelli, with which Doi Malingri took part in the first edition of the Whitbread Round The World Race in 1973/74. His brother Franco was the project manager of the boat, taking care of the engineering part, and took part in the “infamous” second leg between Cape Town and Sydney.
Some of the most important pages of Italian naval history have been written on this boat, as well as the greatest contemporary skippers. The CS & RB still sails and is currently in the South Pacific...

Purchased in 2008, it has been completely restored and modernized, while maintaining its character and temperament intact.

<>RELAXING CRUISES description:
The perfect holiday for those seeking nature, sailing from bay
to bay, without ever entering port, discovering the most suggestive
landscapes, crystal clear and uncontaminated beaches,
far from the crowds. Those who wish can try their hand at manoeuvring
and steering.
Barbecues on board, picnics on the beach, riding around
on a scooter along the paths of Formentera, paddling in the
most beautiful bays in the Mediterranean on board a kayak or a
SUP, fishing, on board you will find fishing equipment for
spinning and trolling; "snorkelling" with the on-board equipment or
a bit of windsurfing....
And if in the evening you want to party, stereo at full blast, karaoke system, and percussion instruments for everyone, as what happens
in Ibiza, stays in Ibiza....

Eco-sustainable, you sail trying to use the engine
as little as possible, on board we use ecological soaps made by us
100% biodegradable! We recycle, we produce our own water and electricity, no plastic dishes, the dishwasher will take care of it! ;-)

The trips are mostly short, maximum 2 hours in the morning
and the same in the afternoon, in order to fully enjoy the time
in the bay, play sports with the on-board equipment
read the itinerary description in detail.

You can also go ashore every day, with the
3.5m tender for a bit of yoga on the beach, hiking,
romantic dinners or simply for an aperitif at
sunset.
There is also an evening planned for those who want it at the Blue
Marlin, (except for health restrictions) where you can let loose
to the music of the most important DJs of the moment.
ATTENTION: this is NOT a holiday suitable for those who want to go to
clubs every night!!!

Thursday is a day ashore where with scooters, e-bikes,
bicycles, scooters or simply on foot you go to the discovery
of Formentera, its splendid natural parks, the salt flats, and
the suggestive villages of the interior, which from the sea you would get lost.
(any rentals are not included in the offer)

ATTENTION: This type of Yacht requires a minimum of
athleticism, it was designed for the first race around the world,
it is absolutely NOT a luxury boat with which to be
pretty stuck in port. It is a boat (and a crew)
concrete, that sails. this is not a holiday, but rather, a
week of sharing a lifestyle, suitable for those who
love nature, good food, harmony and the sea; our luxury,
is having ice cream! in short, for those who love roast meat, not smoke....
ATTENTION! THIS HOLIDAY IS ALREADY CONFIRMED! We will also leave
with just one person on board!




PROGRAM:

SATURDAY - Ibiza
We board from 7:30 pm onwards at the dock of the San
Remo hotel, near Saint Antoni de Portmany, Cala de bou, island of
Ibiza easily reachable by bus and taxi
from the airport.
Once on board, we settle in, have an aperitif and a quick briefing on the
use of the bathrooms. Dinner in front of one of the most suggestive sunsets
on the island and then we go to sleep.

SUNDAY - Ibiza
After breakfast by around 10 am, general and
safety briefing, after which we set off.
Leaving the bay of San Antony after an hour of calm
navigation, we stop at anchor at Cala Comte. In the
afternoon, we set sail for Cala Tarida, which can be reached in
an hour, where we will stop for the night.

MONDAY - Ibiza
With a short navigation of 1 or 2 hours we stop at anchor under the
suggestive cliffs of the island of Es Vedra. Afterwards
we sail towards Sa Caleta. (Or Cala Jondal if you want to go to the disco for the evening)

TUESDAY - Formentera
After enjoying the bay, we set off for Formentera,
reaching the harbour of S'Espalmador where we will spend the night.

WEDNESDAY - Formentera
We will go ashore along the Caribbean beaches of Formentera,
picnic lunch on the beach!
In the afternoon, we move to Ses Illetes, one of the most
exclusive places on the island, in the evening we reach La Savina, not far away.

THURSDAY - Formentera
Day ashore, after breakfast we disembark, here it is possible to
rent any means of transport, and set off to discover the interior of the
island. In the evening we move to Cala Saona.

FRIDAY - Ibiza
In the morning we take advantage of the bay and in the afternoon we set sail for
Ibiza, Cala D'Orth, we have dinner at sunset in front of Es
Vedra, and in the night we reach San
Antony again.

SATURDAY - Ibiza
Saturday morning, after breakfast, we disembark by
10:00.


The itinerary described above represents the standard. The
captain may vary this program at his sole discretion
in order to guarantee the safety of the unit and its
occupants, as well as to make navigation and
stops at anchor more comfortable.

COVID SITUATION
Mandatory certification for all participants (Swab or
Greenpass)
Daily ozone sanitization of environments, disinfectant dispensers
everywhere, weekly internal, external and
linen sanitization.
It is also possible to take out travel insurance for any
cancellations etc...

CONVENTIONED SERVICES
A shuttle service to and from the
airport is available upon reservation (for a fee) with the possibility luggage storage.
Agreement for Covid swabs departing from Ibiza, all
coordinated with the shuttle so as not to lose even a minute of
vacation.

BOARDING AND DISEMBARKATION
It is possible to board from 7.30 pm on Saturday until 10.00 am
on Sunday.
Disembarkation is possible from 8.00 pm on Friday until
10.00 am on Saturday.
Therefore, do not worry if your flights have non-aligned
times or are delayed....

WHAT TO BRING
Life on a boat, in the summer, in the Balearics, does not require a large
wardrobe, the most used items are swimsuits and sarongs...
Large rigid luggage is not permitted. The
best luggage on a boat is a soft bag or a backpack
that can be easily stored in a locker; those who show up with
hard suitcases will have to select the essential items of clothing, and
leave the suitcase at their own expense in the luggage storage. (don't
take me for a despotic person, but the spaces on board, to preserve the
comfort of everyone, do not allow other possibilities)
Bed linen and
toilet linen are also provided.

ALL INCLUSIVE TREATMENT
The All Inclusive treatment exempts guests from the
galley and kitchen operations, leaving time for relaxation, games, and
fun. However, a minimum
collaboration is required with regards to setting and clearing the table, tidiness and hygiene of your cabins and
bathrooms.
The “ALL INCLUSIVE” treatment does not include any additional
cost for life on board in addition to the
participation fee, drinks and food included; below I report the
general menu planned for a week.
Meals and drinks consumed on land as well as any excursions
are not included in the fee.

ATTENTION: all inclusive does not mean "à la carte" menu,
slight variations to the menu are possible with the same
ingredients, but it is not possible to overturn it. It also does not mean
Open Bar, normal drinks and alcoholic beverages are provided, anyone
who has special needs can purchase their own
wines and favorite dishes on land at their own expense.

The menu is structured with abundant breakfasts, light lunches so as not to be weighed down and to be able to enjoy the sea to the fullest,
substantial dinners low in carbohydrates to facilitate a good night's sleep.
The following menu is indicative, that is, it describes the typical
dietary regime of a week on board, I do not mention the
aperitifs and snacks in which you dig into the leg of
Iberian ham always hanging in the kitchen... Wine, beer and drinks
are at your complete disposal, but with the moderation due to
alcoholic drinks, as well as spirits. (of course there is also
water ;-))))

The MENU of the week:

SATURDAY: boarding after 7:30 pm and welcome aperitif.
Dinner: Paella de Pescado.

SUNDAY: Mimitica breakfast, that is, crepes or pancakes or
omelettes prepared on the spot, biscuits, jam, honey,
Nutella, Dulce de Leche, tea, coffee, milk, Greek yogurt, seasonal
fruit. On request eggs and ham.
Lunch: Pasta with Clams.
Dinner: Grilled Fish, Grilled Vegetables.


MONDAY: Mimitica breakfast
Lunch: Jamon Iberico Reserva cut with a knife, local cheeses
with honey, walnuts and onion jam made on the boat, bruschetta
di italiche and bruschetta with avocado, mixed salad.
Dinner: Grilled Meat, Cerdo Iberico (Spanish breed pork),
grilled vegetables, Papas Arrugata (new potatoes cooked in sea water, (typical Canarian recipe)

TUESDAY: Mimitica breakfast
Lunch: Pasta with Sardines (fish) ;-) local cheeses and
cold cuts.
Dinner: Thai Shrimp Soup with vegetables, accompanied with basmati
rice.

WEDNESDAY: breakfast, Mimitica
Lunch: picnic on the beach, rice salad, Iberian ham
Dinner: grilled chicken, grilled vegetables.

THURSDAY: breakfast Mimitica
Lunch: Day ashore, for those who do not wish to taste the local
cuisine in the island's restaurants, packed lunch.
Dinner: Arroz Negro (seafood paella with squid ink, accompanied
with Allioli sauce).

FRIDAY: breakfast Mimitica
Lunch at sea, avocado bruschetta, tomato bruschetta, mixed salad, Iberian ham, local cheeses.
Dinner: fish soup Mimitica.

SATURDAY: breakfast Mimitica
Disembarkation within 12:00 10:00.

The menu is intended as indicative, changes may be made due to the availability of raw materials, as well as technical navigation needs.
During the week there will be plenty of opportunities to go fishing, and if you are lucky, the menu will be duly modified.
