"Pepe" 22 m ocean racing sailboat

PEPE is a large ocean sailing boat 22 meters long + a large stern platform.

Rigged as a "cutter" with a 28 m mast, it has participated in numerous "Rolex Cup" regattas and, thanks to its high-performance water lines, large sail area and low weight (the hull is built in Kevlar), it allows for fast sailing. This boat is characterized by the “flush deck” bridge, for the numerous “running maneuvers” aimed at a precise adjustment of the sails.

The external comfort is characterized by the presence of: a comfortable sunbathing cushion at the bow of the mainmast (also usable while sailing) a table for 10 people (with relative director's chairs) positioned under the boom and surmounted by fabric shades a table for 8 people in the main cockpit area and surmounted by a fabric shade cover a royal ladder positioned amidships for a comfortable descent to the sea a large stern platform that considerably increases the space available to guests that includes a gas grill, hydraulic gangway (with restraint for the tender).

The interiors of the PEPE are made of solid mahogany wood. The dinette is very spacious and includes a large island with a 4-burner stove, cockpit fridges, ice maker, dishwasher, microwave. Also in the dinette there is a double square (Guests and crew) A table for 16 people and a table for 4 people + the "chart" area. A 42-inch television completes the equipment.

The sleeping area has 10 beds divided as follows:

3 double cabins (for 2 people) with private bathroom
1 double cabin in the bow (for 2 people) with shared bathroom
1 cabin with 2 bunk beds (for 2 people) with shared bathroom
A total of 5 cabins and 4 bathrooms. In the stern area there is a sixth cabin for the crew with bathroom.

If necessary, the 4-person table in the dinette can become a comfortable double bed whose privacy is guaranteed by a curtain, bringing the total number of beds to 12.

The PEPE allows you to navigate quickly in all weather conditions. The impressive sail area allows for very technical navigation, while combining on-board comfort at the highest levels.

Air conditioning is present in every room but can only be used if moored in a marina with a 220 shore connection.

A Webasto heating system completely heats the boat during winter navigation.

The safety equipment is at the highest levels: radar, epirb, ssb, vhf, sonar, double cartographic station, automatic pilot, 8 kw generator, 2 solas life rafts for 20 people (compliant with IMO, MED, CE), etc.

PEPE has 2 Lombardini engines with a power of 60 hp for each of them. Propulsion by means of saildrive with folding propellers. The average consumption of each of the engines is approximately 5 litres/h. Total 10 litres/h IMPORTANT: this boat is equipped with AIR CONDITIONING! If the temperature requires it, the skipper will turn on the AC system at 8 pm until midnight. In this way, the comfort on board will allow all guests to sleep in maximum comfort.
