MY LEGEND 77M: The Ultimate Explorer Mega Yacht for Charter (2015)

Discover MY LEGEND 77M, a legendary 77.4-meter (254 ft) explorer mega yacht by Icon Yachts, originally built in 1974 as a Class 1 icebreaker and completely transformed in a major 2015 refit. In collaboration with Verkerk Yachting Projects, the ice-breaking tug MV GIANT underwent a unique conversion from 2014 to 2015 at ICON Yachts in Harlingen. Renamed MY LEGEND, she became one of the first ice-capable yachts with Lloyds 1A Ice Class. More than 100 tonnes of steel and aluminium were renewed and her hull was lengthened at the stern by 3.6 m. LOA 77.4 m, beam 13.5 m, approx. 2,240 GT, top/cruising speed 16/13 knots. She accommodates 26 guests in 13 staterooms with a crew of 30. Refit naval architecture and exterior design by Diana Yacht Design, interior by Legend Beheer BV. Toys include an EC135 helicopter, a Robinson light helicopter, a C-Explorer 3 submarine rated to 200 m, two luxury tenders, a fast rescue boat, two SOLAS lifeboats and a Balinese spa with cinema and media room.
