Hello, I am Joaquim. Thank you very much for your interest in one of our boats. In order to respond more quickly to our customers and resolve their doubts with agility, we have prepared this message with some of the frequently asked questions:

- Is there parking near the boat?
Yes, we are located in the port right in front of the BP gas station in Roses. Right in front of the boat, there is a paid parking lot for only €3 all day. A little further ahead, also within the port (about 30 meters from the boat), there is a free parking area.

- Can I rent a boat if I don't have a boating license?
Yes. If you do not have a boating license, you have two options:
Rent the Astec FIBER 450 boat, which does not require a license.
Or book any boat from our fleet with a skipper.
Skipper rates:
€90 for 4 hours
€160 for 8 hours

- What are the rental hours?
We offer various time slots according to your preferences:
Half day (morning): check-in between 9:00 and 9:30 am
Half day (afternoon): check-in between 2:30 and 3:00 pm
Full day (8 hours): from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm
Sunset Experience: from 7:00 to 9:30 pm

- What happens if the weather is bad on the day of the reservation?
Do not worry. If the weather conditions are not favorable, we will notify you in advance and reschedule the departure according to availability. If it is not possible to change the date (due to boat or client availability), we will request Samboat to refund the amount paid.

- How does the security deposit work?
The amount of the security deposit depends on each boat and you can see it indicated in the listing of each boat. The security deposit is paid at the beginning of the rental, just when the boat explanation is given and you check that everything is in order. It is returned the same day after verifying that the boat is returned in the same condition.

- How much is spent on gasoline during a day of rental?
In boats that require a boating license, gasoline is not included in the price. When the boat is delivered, the tank will be full, and at the end of the rental, you must stop at the BP gas station in the port of Roses to refill what has been consumed before returning the boat. The consumption depends on factors such as length, engine, speed, number of people on board, current, and wind. Here is an average estimate of daily consumption:
6-meter boat, 115 hp engine: between €40 and €60
150 hp engine: between €50 and €70
8-meter boat, 300 hp engine: between €70 and €110
