About this boat
A sailing holiday out of the ordinary, among friends, this is the concept!
On board a boat set up with love and expertise by Massimo and Corinna, owners and crew, with all those comforts and accessories that a normal and anonymous charter boat cannot offer. Together they will supervise the maneuvers, navigation, cooking, but above all you will be the crew and the protagonists.
Your wishes are the first thing to pack!
Those with no experience will be able to learn the notions of sailing and the sea, the more experienced will be able to share experiences and refine techniques. The synthesis is experiencing the sea from the sea.
This year the incredible situation created by the COVID19 emergency makes sailing holidays probably the safest way to experience the sea. Family or pre-established crews, boat sanitized at each crew change, the possible possibility of doing rapid tests before boarding and then off to sea, away from the crowds, looking for roadsteads and isolated places, in short a slightly different holiday, but not too much for those who want to experience the sea.
The BOAT - Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 49' (15 mt.) owner's boat, cared for and equipped for long navigations and great comfort.
Three double cabins with bathroom are at your disposal: two large cabins at the stern, a slightly smaller cabin at the bow (a queen-size bed), SUP (stand up paddle), 3.2 mt inflatable boat with aluminum keel, with 15 hp engine, jennaker, solar panels and wind generator.
Ocean safety equipment.
THE CREW - Massimo Corsetti, born in Rome in 1963. Spoken languages: Italian and English.
He has always been at sea and in 1992 he made it his life by founding the Dive In diving centers, currently operating in Sharm El Sheikh in the Red Sea.
He approached sailing with the first windsurfs that appeared in Italy in 1977. He raced with windsurfing at a good level. He switched to sailing by working on boats. Licensed in 1992 and since 2004 owner of “IO&TE” with which he began to sail and do charters between the Mediterranean and the Red Sea, in the last ten between the Greek islands of the Aegean Sea and in 2020 Corsica and Sardinia. Two Atlantic crossings, in both directions in 2014 and 2016. Passionate about cooking.
Yacht Master Offshore RYA, Yacht Master Ocean RYA, Scuba instructor, sailor, freediver, kiter, windsurfer, wingfoil, but also skiing, mountain biking, snowboarding.
Corinna Betti, born in Rome in 1979. Spoken languages: Italian and English.
Graduated in Economics and Commerce, she worked for 20 years for important fashion brands, first as a Retail Manager and then as a Sales Manager.
She is a photographer, travels for passion and travels the world in search of wind and ocean waves to practice the sports she loves: surfing, kitesurfing, SUP, of which in 2011 she was Italian champion in the specialty race, sailing and diving. Even away from the sea she has her great passions: horse riding, skiing, snowboarding, yoga, swimming, and not to miss anything even snowkiting..., she excels in all of them. Sailing and motor boat license.
The sea and sport have always been in her DNA and this year she has decided to dedicate herself full time to the sea and sailing. An excellent cook and hospitable owner, she is now in her third season on IO&TE.
THE FORMULA - Entire boat rental for up to six people divided into three cabins, all with private bathroom.
