You will find our very pretty "MALEO", a Sun Odyssey 39 DS, at the port of Hendaye in the Basque country. It is an armed mid-shore cruise boat (less than 60 NM), very seaworthy, very comfortable and easy to helm with a short crew. It has: - Two double cabins - A bathroom with shower and toilet - Hot and cold water under pressure - Fresh water reserves: 350 liters - Diesel reserve: 130 liters - A bow thruster - Usual navigation equipment, plotter, VHS (fixed and portable) etc. The sails are new and are both furling. Our boat, rented with a parking space nearby and insurance included, is ideal for cruises of 4 to 5 people and more for a day sailing program (6 beds possible with a convertible saloon) You will have the opportunity to discover the coast which is superb up to La Coruña (a little over 350 miles). It can also be very pleasant to wander along the coast and stop in the multitude of ports including the bay of Bilbao where the metro takes you from the port into the city After La Coruña if you like the wild, there is lots of very nice Ria but it's already much further away. Not to mention navigation, the port, with its Saturday morning market, is an ideal starting point for hikes to discover this magnificent region of the Basque Country with its landscapes, traditions and architecture.
