Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 35 (2004)

Designed by Marc Lombard, the Sun Odyssey 35 was inspired by the success of its big sister, the 37, and incorporates many of the same features, including a similar modern profile. A spacious boat, both on deck and below, with an overall beam of 11 feet, 5 inches which is carried almost all the way aft, creating a wedge-shaped hull, high in stability with great off the wind performance. The Sun Odyssey has a high-lift external iron keel and a balanced rudder. Like all Jeanneaus, the 35 is well engineered and constructed with the good sea-keeping firmly in mind. The steering console features Whit lock cable steering and molded pods for sailing instruments. The 35 inch leather-covered wheel provides good leverage and is not too big to make your way aft to the swim steps. The self-tailing primaries are easily reached from the helm The larger sister of the 32, Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 35 displays all the characteristics of the Jeanneau Sun Odyssey range. Balanced and enjoyable to sail with a large cockpit, wheel steering and sail controls led aft for ease of handling.
