After a series of enchanting coves like Fiascherino, Maralunga, l'Eco del Mare, you arrive at the picturesque bay of Lerici with its castle and beaches. The first stop will be in one of these bays for a refreshing swim and an aperitif with tasting of typical products. You will continue to Portovenere (the pearl of the Gulf of Poets), an ancient fishing village, where you can admire from the sea the "Palazzata a Mare," a set of tall and narrow buildings leaning towards the horizon; the different widths of the facades, as well as the uneven heights and pastel colors that alternate with each other, creating an unusual sight. The Doria Castle, the ancient church of San Pietro, and Byron's Grotto, nestled in a fascinating cove, will conclude this first part of your tour. There will be a stop at anchor in the Portovenere bay, where you will be offered a light lunch and drinks. After lunch, the journey will continue to discover the Islands: - Palmaria, the largest of the Ligurian islands characterized by high cliffs and numerous caves and the remains of the marble quarries from which the precious Portoro marble was extracted. We will make stops for a refreshing swim in the suggestive waters of the Gulf of Poets. Return to port is expected at 17:30 Available are a mattress, full-face mask, mask with snorkel, tube, and floating board. At the departure port of Ameglia, there are free parking and showers.
