About this boat
MAÏA is a very well maintained Gib Sea 31 DL. Its two main advantages are that it offers the best compromise to be efficient at all speeds while being able to beach on crutches and that it has been lengthened with a large skirt that is very pleasant at anchor and safe for boarding.
It is equipped with a mainsail and a furling genoa.
It also has a tender equipped with a 4-stroke outboard engine.
Its dimensions: 10 meters including the skirt by 3.3 meters wide. Its draft varies between 1.2 and 2.0 meters. Its air draft is approximately 13.5 meters.
The interior offers 2 double cabins, a saloon with a convertible starboard bunk, a kitchen area equipped with two sinks, a fresh water tap, a cooler and a 2-burner gas stove and an oven.
The chart table, on the port side, is spacious. The starboard aft is entirely occupied by the bathroom equipped with a marine toilet.
For navigation, you will find at your disposal a depth sounder, a GPS chart plotter, a large number of paper charts, compass, CRAS ruler, bearing compass.
A bank of 2 batteries provides electricity. One for the engine and one for the service. A 55 W solar panel completes the system. Shore power and extension cord are available in the rear trunk.
In terms of safety: Maïa is equipped with all the equipment necessary for semi-offshore navigation (lights, fixed and portable VHF, pins, bucket, ladder, electric and manual bilge pumps, life jackets, etc.) as well as a revised 6-seater life raft.
