Swim in the crystal-clear waters, snorkel with sea bream and damselfish, or grab a pineapple cocktail and capture that perfect shot. 2; Cominotto Island This is a smaller island near Comino, famously used as a filming location for the movie Troy starring Brad Pitt. It's a fantastic place for snorkeling or exploring the secluded white sandy beach where Brad Pitt once stood. 3; Cominotto Reef This reef is located to the north and west of the island and is a great spot for spotting octopus if you're sharp-eyed. There's also a cave that goes through the island. 4; Lovers Cave Possibly the nicest cave on the Maltese islands and one of the lesser-known ones. It stretches around 40 meters deep and ends with a hidden sandy beach. 5; Pigeon Rock An island off the Comino coast, it looks like an iceberg jutting out of the water. You can admire the geological formations and the colorful rock surface. 6; Popeye Cave This cave earned its name after the Popeye movie starring Robin Williams was filmed here. It's a great spot to grab some -worthy shots. 7; Crystal Lagoon Stop Duration: 20 minutes Some of the best caves and the iconic Comino Tower can be seen here.
