About this boat
Sailing Performance & Adventure Course: Welcome aboard Grand Citron Vert!
Share a unique sailing experience in Polynesia, between technical expertise
and the sweetness of life.
The Boat: A thoroughbred of the seas Grand Citron Vert (1980) is a legendary catamaran
from the Ville Audrain series (13.40 m x 7.50 m), designed by Erik Le Rouge.
With only 7 tons, this light and swift sailboat is designed for speed
and gliding. Forget the "easy-going" navigation of rental catamarans: here,
we adjust the sails, feel the helm, and enjoy incredible gliding sensations
on the turquoise water.
The Skipper: Expertise at the service of your passion
Luc has been sailing since the age of 8, his first waves having been traced at the Tahiti sailing club.
- Sailing Professional: 1st and 2nd degree Instructor and Coach.
- Great traveler: Since 2022, he has crossed the Atlantic, explored
the Caribbean and Panama, before completing his Pacific crossing
to return to his homeland. Luc is not just a captain,
he is an educator who loves to pass on his expertise, from fine maneuvers
to managing autonomy on long cruises.
Sandrine, his partner, will also be on board, taking care of you. Gourmet meals and yoga coaching possible.
The Program: Co-piloting & Discovery
We offer a pedagogical co-navigation formula. You will not be mere passengers, but active crew members.
On the agenda:
- Learning adjustments on a performance multi-hull.
- Reading currents, celestial navigation, and lagoon management.
- Exploration of archipelagos (Marquesas, Tuamotu, Leeward Islands) according to the
schedule.
Conditions for the 2026 season: To ensure quality teaching and
optimal comfort, we limit the number of crew members to a maximum of 2 or 3 people.
The rate is customized, based on your group (max 3 people), the duration and the departure port: feel free to contact us via the Samboat messaging system to discuss directly with us and receive a personalized proposal.
- Coaching & Onboard Living Rate: starting from 200€ per person per day on average.
- This rate includes: Teaching (coaching by a certified coach),
berth,
fuel, gas, and mooring fees.
- Full onboard kitty (fresh food, local products) Strong spirits and your personal expenses on land.
