About this boat
PUNTA PROSCIUTTO-TORRE CASTIGLIONE-FULL DAY
• Departure from Porto Cesareo heading northwards to reach the bay of Torre di Castiglione, Punta Prosciutto, about 7 nautical miles (13 km) away. This amazing stretch of coast can only be reached by sea, therefore it’s a quiet and evocative place.
• Departure towards the amazing ruins of the sixteenth-century Torre di Castiglione, where you can see a rocky coast, swim or snorkel above a white-sand seabed. You can also plunge into a unique cove and have an invigorating swim where the cool spring water meets the warm sea water with a change in temperature of 5-6 °C and stunning colour gradations.
Breakfast on board with coffee and the typical pasticciotto from Salento.
• Departure in a southerly direction towards Torre Lapillo, where the sea is always calm.
Lunch on board with excellent quality wine.
• Nearby, you can go snorkelling and visit the statue of Our Lady of Navigators. It represents the Virgin Mary and was placed 3,5 metres underwater after the sinking of the cruise ship Costa Concordia in 2012. It commemorates deaths at sea.
• Final step at “Le Dune” beach where we will provide you with seasonal fruit and prosecco.
• Return to Porto Cesareo.
