Ören Town is located on the northern coast of the Gulf of Gökova, 40 km south of Milas district of Muğla province. In front of the town, whose back rests on steep cliffs, lies the plain formed by the alluvium brought by Kocaçay. Today's Ören was built on the ancient city of Keramos.
