Comar-Yachts Comet 11 (1979)

This Comet 11 sailboat comes from the drawing board of Jean-Marie Finot and the Comar Yachts shipyards. It provides great sailing pleasure and a high level of comfort on board. The ergonomics are remarkable thanks to its comfortable aft saloon, large galley, huge chart table, easy circulation, and headroom that allows standing upright.

It has the charm of sailboats that catch the eye on the water and at the pontoon. It combines comfort, safety, and performance. I lived pleasantly on board for over 3 years and sailed for pleasure mainly between Oléron and Sainte-Marine.

Dimensions: 10.80 m; beam 3.60 m; draft 1.93 m. Antifouling done. The sailboat is on the hard stand in the port between two trips.

Engine: Lombardini 30 HP, saildrive, 610 hours.

Minor defects of the sailboat:
- The mattress in the owner's cabin has been well used. It is planned to be replaced but is not yet available.
- Little electronics on board (no fixed GPS, no wind vane or anemometer which I never missed). I provide a tablet with navigation and weather software NV chart.
- The winches are classic so you need both hands to operate them.
- Very large symmetrical spinnaker in a sock on a sliding pole fixed on the mast rail. It is easier to hoist it in the sock to gybe quietly.
