Cobalt R33 Surf — a new motor boat from Cobalt (previewed at Chicago Boat Show January 2024). The R33 Surf has a length overall of 33' 4" (10.16 m) and a beam of 10' 6" (3.20 m). It is Cobalt's first twin-engine, twin forward-drive boat with joystick maneuverability. The model features a cabin that accommodates sleeping and seating, plus a side-entry door and built-in smart TV. Engine options include twin 300 HP, 350 HP, 380 HP, or 430 HP outboards, with the tested sterndrive version using twin 380 HP Volvo Penta V-8s. Fuel capacity is 150 gallons and fresh water capacity is 25 gallons, supporting a cruising range of nearly 230 miles at 90% fuel load. The R33 Surf is yacht-certified and designed for wakesurfing, wakeboarding, and family cruising.
