This Trireme 43 is a beautiful offshore cruising unit, the hull was built in steel in 1983 by the "CHANTIER NAVAL DE BIOT" shipyard based on the plans of the architect François CHARPENTIER, known in particular for designing the TRIREME sailing series, models from 43 to 60 feet. This is a boat designed for comfort in navigation and habitability at stopovers. The triple chine hull is made of welded steel plates on T-beams. The thickness of the plates is 4mm for the top chine, 5mm for the middle chine, and 6mm for the bottom chine. The reliability of the construction by the "CHANTIER NAVAL DE BIOT" shipyard and the protective treatment of the metal structure carried out by the original owner are of a quality rarely found in units of the same type.
