And indeed, the English Channel is there. The boat is moored at the front harbor of Ouistreham, downstream from the locks: no waiting, no canal maneuvers. You cast off, you pass through the channel, you're there. In a few minutes, the coast of Calvados opens up before you - the D-Day beaches seen from the sea, Courseulles-sur-Mer, Port-en-Bessin, the rocky plateaus of Cap Hornu, or simply the open sea for a serious fishing session.

The deep V hull handles the Norman chop without flinching, and the Mercury Racing engine responds promptly to every maneuver.
