Holder of numerous qualifications in boating (BACPN, CRR, Jetski and Boat School Instructor...), referring to SAMBOAT, for 4 years now and starting my 5th season with them, in the Pyrénées Orientales area (66), it seemed normal to me that, with the countless boat briefings done over the past 5 years, and always facing the same lack of skills from each person, to offer several Post-coastal license training courses. Indeed, many holders of this so-called "Coastal License" have little or no (or very little) experience in navigation and various maneuvers in the harbor and at sea. It is therefore within the framework of co-navigation that embodies values of conviviality, solidarity, and sharing that I propose, according to your experience and what you want to acquire, several Navigation Assistance Packs, refresher courses and/or reminders, support, and discovery... PACK 1 - 2 hours: I discover and train at a minimum! Boat presentation, what to do and check before departure (safety equipment), weather check on the phone and understanding different marks, VHF activation. Entries and exits from the berth (Repeated maneuver several times on port and starboard), and repositioning of the boat with its moorings, refueling maneuver (Same maneuver repeated several times on port and starboard), sea exit, maintaining course, becoming familiar with the surroundings... - €200 (€60 reservation on the platform and the rest on-site, i.e., €140 cash on-site to be paid) PACK 2 - 4 hours: I start to improve and can bring my family... Pack 1 + GPS/Sounder explanation, follow a route from GPS and mark waypoints (favorite spots to return to), buoy pickup, study of the natural reserve environment, Boating-Navionics App, Visit of the ports of Banyuls sur Mer and Port Vendres. Use of VHF - €300 (€80 reservation on the platform and the rest on-site, i.e., €220 cash on-site to be paid) PACK 3 - 8 hours: The top, perfect! Family outing and/or with friends... I become a true sailor! Pack 1 and 2 + Excursion to the coves in Spain, meal (optional) in a restaurant in Colera (La Boigdega) with great tapas! Setting up the boat with lines in the port, anchoring the boat in the sand (Anse de Garbet), securing the boat in the coves (No anchor, seagrass preservation), swimming, bathing ladder, buoy... the Whole package - €450 (€100 reservation on the platform and the rest on-site, i.e., €350 cash on-site to be paid) Participation in expenses includes the costs incurred during the outing (fuel, mooring fees, boat rental, port tax, etc., etc., etc.).
