About this boat
The sailboat can be rented by the hour. Classic sailboat fully restored in 2021, with capacity for eight people (7 + skipper). Ideal for day charters, sunset trips, weekend trips and school practices. Family boat, well cared and conditioned, with all the new equipment maintaining the style that made her mythical, oriented to provide maximum safety and comfort. Ideal for getting to know the Bay of Cadiz and its history, from the Phoenicians to the War of Independence and the constitution of 1812. Get a different view of Cadiz, on the other side of its historic walls. Enjoy a swim in La Caleta beach, or contemplate in Sancti Petri the same sunset in which Julius Caesar wept before the statue of Alexander the Great, in the temple where the remains of Hercules were laid to rest. Cadiz is the history of Spain, and the history of humanity. I invite you to relive it from the sea. I have been sailing for 25 years, repairing and restoring boats for 15 years. I have travelled the whole peninsula, always as skipper, and on boats restored by myself. I love the sea, and sharing my passion for it. When I saw the Telethusa, I knew that this would be my family boat, even without knowing her history, which is not a short one. After a year of work out of the water, with a fully restored boat, she returned to its first home, the Real Club Náutico de Cádiz, in the centre of the city. To dance in the waters of Gades, like the dancer after whom she is named. It is a source of pride when, on entering a port other than our own, a skipper, normally more than five decades old, comes up to you and asks if this is really "the lifelong Telethusa...".
