Bénéteau First 30 (1977)

I offer for rent a 1977 First 30 based at the port of Boulogne sur Mer (62). The reputation of the First 30 is well established: it was elected Boat of the Year in 1978 and became the official boat of the Tour de France à la voile from 1979 to 1981. Renowned for its excellent seafaring qualities, it is a true beast in tight situations while remaining comfortable in all conditions. With a length of 9.15 meters, a beam of 2.86 meters, and a draft of 1.70 meters, it is very easy to handle. It is approved for 6 people but is very comfortable with up to 4 crew members. It offers all safety and comfort features: recent sails (3-year-old Genoa on furler, 4-year-old mainsail), reliable and economical Nanni 12HP inboard engine (1l/h), tiller, VHF with ASN + AIS, portable VHF, Raymarine ST2000+ autopilot, offshore equipped (6-person liferaft), dinghy (possibility of outboard motor). Double cabin in the bow, 2 berths in the saloon, 1 single berth to starboard, galley with cooler, 2-burner gimballed stove, and all necessary cooking equipment. Departing from Boulogne sur Mer, you can easily go for a trip to England (Dover 24 NM, Ramsgate, Eastbourne, even London!), stay in France (Calais, Dunkirk, Normandy), or visit our Belgian friends.
