Bénéteau First 235 (2008)

A small cabin cruiser for coastal cruising, a good compromise between internal habitability and sailing performance. The First 235 was one of the first small boats to be designed with the idea of obtaining (in proportion) the comfort of large hulls. Designed by the Finot Group for Bénéteau, this hull is light and easy to handle like a dinghy; it is 7/8 rigged and has a generous sail surface, thanks to the large rolling jib. At sea it is a fun and fast boat, even if careful attention must be paid to the arrangement of the weights, avoiding concentrating the crew at the stern. The interiors are very large: a double berth at the bow, another at the stern, an L-shaped kitchen and a cabin height of 1.70 m, as well as a system that transforms the corner of the chart table into marine toilet room.
