Bavaria 40 Cruiser (2009)

For spring and summer 2026 we will travel in the Adriatic (from the west to the North then to the East and finally to the Southeast. (Italy, Slovenia, Croatia, Montenegro, Albania, and Western Greece) until July before continuing towards Central Greece in August and September.
We will spend the winter in Greece.

The AcquaMarina is a 40-foot (12 meters) Bavaria cruiser with three double cabins, two bathrooms (toilet+sink+shower) built in 2009 and completely refitted in 2016 for long-distance travel: Extra batteries, Solar panels, Seawater desalinator, additional tank, Radar, rigid dinghy... The sails are from 2022.
It can comfortably accommodate up to 6 people for long-distance travel in the best safety conditions.

For a coastal day trip (picnic at sea) the maximum capacity is 9 people (children of any age are legally considered as one person).

In order to provide you with the most pleasant conditions for a cruise (2 days to 2 weeks), your hosts Gilles and Marie, limit the on-board accommodation to 4 people occupying the two double cabins at the rear and having a private bathroom. Perfect for two couples or a family with 2 (or exceptionally 3) children.

We prioritize sharing and meeting: the boat is for us a way of life and not a rental investment, which is why our boat is only rented with its owner on board, never "bareboat".

Food and beverages are not included in the rental price, but we can take care of stocking the boat according to your tastes, dietary requirements (vegan, kosher, gluten-free, halal...) and any allergies.

Gilles, the Owner, is a certified coastal and offshore cruise instructor, and his presence and intimate knowledge of this boat on which he has been living for six years can reassure inexperienced renters. He can advise you on the navigation program according to your desires, the weather, and your abilities and will be happy to accompany you to the most beautiful and secret places known to him, at the most opportune times for you to have an unforgettable memory...

Marie often joins him. She has extensive experience in long-distance navigation and life on board with over 48 months of sailing in 8 years (Transatlantic, USA, Caribbean, Bahamas, Mediterranean), on various monohull or catamaran boats. Marie provides efficient, caring, and smiling service in English, French, Danish, and Italian. She ensures your COMFORT.
She will cleverly advise you in all areas of life on board, provisioning, personal effects to bring - or not - care for injuries, organize excursions, and sightseeing.

We recommend starting and ending stays during the week rather than on Friday or Saturday, as ports are crowded on weekends due to professional renters, this also allows for more advantageous flight transfers.

We invite you to share all your navigation questions and projects via SamBoat messaging, we are accustomed to organizing "tailor-made" festive or family events on board.

We are fully vaccinated against COVID-19, there are masks and gel on board. The boat is cleaned and disinfected at each change of crew.
