About this boat
Embark on an unforgettable fishing journey with Bass-Tub, San Francisco's top choice for sport fishing, bay cruises, and private charters. This second-generation Anfinson family operation runs a single 52-foot vessel out of Berth 4 at Fisherman's Wharf, offering a USCG-licensed experience for up to 36 anglers.
Built in 1978 at Westport shipyard in Westport, Washington, the current Bass-Tub is a 52-foot by 17-foot vessel that was formerly known as 'Ghost Rider'. Captain Erik 'Tubby' Anfinson, who started deckhanding for his father Cliff at 19, purchased this vessel to rebirth the operation after running the original Bass-Tub for 20 years.
Why Choose Bass-Tub for Your San Francisco Fishing Trip?
- Proven Expertise: Led by Captain Erik 'Tubby' Anfinson, a seasoned professional with decades of local experience.
- Perfect Vessel Size: The 52-foot boat offers stability and comfort, ideal for exploring San Francisco Bay out to the Farallon Islands.
- Flexible Trips: Book half-day (6 hours, 6 a.m. departure) or full-day charters tailored to your schedule.
