Amel Kirk (1974)

Hello everyone, I rent out this Amel Kirk sailboat from Ajaccio. Designed in 1974 by the Amel shipyard, "Cala" meets the construction criteria of the time both in its behavior at sea and in its design and interior fittings. The KIRK, with its recognized marine qualities, sturdiness, and quality equipment, is highly appreciated in all family or friends sailing conditions. Each cabin has plenty of storage space. It has been carefully refitted: paint, dishes, rear davit with illuminated bathing ladder, LED lighting, additional fans with USB chargers in the main and rear cabins, new refrigerator (May 2021), battery charger (2 batteries for service and engine with separate circuits), new 300W photovoltaic panel, GARMIN GPS plotter. The 25 hp Lombardini engine is serviced before each rental season. New mainsail (February 2020), roller furling genoa refitted in 2020, new Lazy and Bimini (December 2023), new LED navigation lights (May 2021), dinghy (June 2020 with inflator and accessories), rigging and winches fully serviced in 2025, antifouling done every year at the beginning of the season. It is well maintained, allowing for a safe stay and navigation as evidenced by the SAMBOAT certification. It is an 11-meter boat that can accommodate up to 7 people on board (ideally for 4/5 adults). In short, a safe and seaworthy sailboat combining the charm and robustness of the 70s with competitive rental rates for an 11-meter sailboat. Its use as a "good family man" will allow you to fully enjoy your stay. From Ajaccio and here at the Charles Ornano port, just steps away from the train station, there are plenty of wonderful destinations (Sanguinaires Islands, Bonifacio, Lavezzi, Cap Corse, Piana-Scandola duo)... You can access idyllic coves bordered by turquoise waters... A great way to discover Corsica differently. For the months of July and August, rentals are exclusively weekly from Saturday morning at 9:00 am with return the following Friday at 6:00 pm at the latest (Check out completed).
