About this boat
We have the only custom-made power catamaran in South Florida that can accommodate multiple wheelchairs and up to 49 passengers, with improved access via ramps, a bathroom, and curved boat sides for clearance. Thea Marie is the main vessel for all boating, parties, cruises, and fishing programs for the community, vacationers, and the Florida Fishing Academy (FFA), a local nonprofit in Palm Beach County. All charters benefit the FFA.
The FFA's mission is to empower our youth with marine experiential learning.
Since 2006, the FFA has used marine-related activities to teach children a healthy lifestyle and constructive hobby; guide them away from drugs and violence; engage them in efforts to preserve Florida’s fragile natural resources; and introduce them to the marine industries as a potential career path. As part of our mission, we aspire to instill positive values in the young people we educate and mentor.
